Doesn't taste like a Dunkel .. Bland and light .. Drinkable but far from an impressive German brew.

Nice malt, smooth finish, slightly caramel aftertaste

Good after drinking for awhile

European-style dark, medium hops.

Smooth toasty roasted smooth nice slight coffee back.

Terribly skunky nose that volatizes off after few minutes to reveal hearty dark bread aroma. Light to med body. On the palate lot of upfront roasted peanut & shell, hint of plum, soft bitter notes of cocoa nib, w/ a delicate floral/citrus perfumy finish.

I drank it cold and couldn't find the flavor I may want to drink it at room temperature next time.

Very flavourful, smooth to drink, nicely balanced beer
