An abundance of hop additions offers up an explosion of hop bitterness paired with a full piney aroma. A 9% ABV gives it kick but the hoppy bitterness and malty sweetness are somewhat mismatched. Still not bad.

Lots of pine. Not bad, not great. Slightly above average. Nothing particularly unique about it that made me say "wow", but I wouldn't turn it down, either.

5/23 - from a bottle
Visual- light amber like whiskey, though cloudier. No Head to speak of. Goes immediately to lace.
Feel - rich, thick, close to a liquor mouth feel. Low to medium carbonation.
Taste- obviously a big beer, the alcohol punch is front and center. Super hoppy bitter pine, and yet smooth, again almost like a whiskey to me. No citrus that I can find. Floral notes? Heavy but in a good way. Not a summer beer but perfect for a cold gloomy day inside. I would get it again.

Tasty with good hop-malt balance. Definitely tastes high-octane but it's not over the top.

Good tasting with nice bitterness and smooth taste for a 9% abv. Bottle to glass at home. Enjoyed it more then the regular version. Not as fruity.

An overall good Imperial IPA. Sparse head and good lacing on the glass. Definite pine notes with this one.

Just ok. Not great by any standard for an imperial IPA. 3.5/5. Hop selection isn't great.
