High carbonation for an imperial stout...this one is aged 2 years and has a good body with some licorice undertones

Liquid dark chocolate with vanilla extract, though not too sweet & with a nice bitterness. Great stout.

After having this again.. This is the best Russian imperial I've ever had... 5 stars.. Packed with chocolate and vanilla flavor NO bite at all which is mind blowing for an abv this high...and not as heavy and filling as most imperials.. The pinnacle of Russian imperial stouts, would love to buy a case of this.

Probably my favorite Russian Imperial Stout.. Not as bitter as most..subtle hints of vanilla and chocolate in it kill the usual bitter anise flavor that most Russian imperials are known for..Goes down a little bit too easy for a beer that has an 11% abv..which is always a great thing..4.5 stars

Great stout. Very smooth for 11% and heavy on the vanilla but not over powering. One of my favorite.

Too fizzy. Not very thick. Smooth for 11%, although your tongue will feel it after half a bottle. Not bad, but not outstanding. A good sipping winter night bottle.
