Putting artisanal on your craft beer, and charging $8 a small bottle, suggests it?s supposed to be something extra special. This beer doesn?t merit that, which doesn?t mean it?s bad; it?s not. More false advertising on the label: ?Aged in oak barrels.? It might as well say it was flown to the moon because that?s just as likely. This light bodied saison is not very yeasty, but is very grapefruit citrusy, and refreshing. It almost has a brett or sour flavor, which would be bad. Compares very closely with Bikerack Brewery?s Grapefruit Farmhouse Ale. Definitely wish I had another right now and would buy again in a heartbeat, but only if it were average priced.

Tastes dangerously close to Hill Farmstead Arthur, dry, tart, effervescent, with a clean citrus finish, amazing saison

Dry and effervescent - not a ton of saison yeast character - seems a bit more leathery/funky than citrus refreshing Aroma - citrus and crisp Color - straw
