bugs318 - September 14, 2013Nice golden amber with decent head, retention, and lace. Nose is fermenting fruit, cranberries, apple, a bit vinous, some booze and oak. Taste is sweet orange up front before some boozy wine notes with hints of vanilla, bubble gum and spice. Just faintly tart from the wild yeast, but enough to note and bringing out the wine-qualities. Critique is that it is a bit warm, but richly carbonated with a medium body. Lightly tingly and a wine-like finish.
