I love this beer. I'm a huge fan of IPA's and all of the neat stuff American craft brewers are doing in the style. It's good to go back to one of the old school IPA's once in a while and this is one of my favorites. I could drink this all day long.

Quite a fine beer and a great example of an English IPA. Pours an amber with faint particulate topped by a medium frothy head of fair retention and negligible lacing. Th aroma is primarily malty with a caramel malt prominence alongside a floral addition. Taste wise, it begins sweetly, with a subtle, nuanced, but complex dryness expressed through floral and earthy hops notes, with just a touch of lemon. On the tongue it is medium bodied and fairly creamy with mostly mild-feeling carbonation.

Simply delicious. Not sure I would label it an IPA. It's more like a Scottish Ale.

Smelled and tasted a tad skunky at first. Probably from the clear bottle. Not much of the bitter I'm used to from an ipa. But overall not a bad beer
