I found this beer to be quite interesting. I don't know a whole lot about the altbier style, but I can say it tastes more balanced than some of the brown ales I've tried. This example includes a noticeable presence of blackberries at the start, and finishes mildly bitter. Very smooth, with a slightly heavier mouthfeel than other brews. Refreshing and different.
