Different take on the torpedo IPA starts sweet ends hoppy. Refreshing

Has the base torpedo flavors, but more tropical note, true to the name

Some serious mango and pineapple notes hidden behind a strong wall of hops. Too hoppy for me as always, but I can't really hold this against the beer. Had in Astoria march 2017.

Not my style but good for what it is

Strong papaya smell but the taste is overpowered by the citrus hops

The problem with papaya is papaya tastes like feet. When combined with hops, it's just not that good.

A nice twist on the original Torpedo. I wasn't crazed about the original IPA but the spices went a long way to make this IPA stand out above its predecessor. Not a bad after bite and the flavor is welcoming. Good job Sierra Nevada! Faith restored!

Strong for Sierra Nevada but not as strong as the regular Torpedo.

B+. Decent tropical hop flavors with some old Torpedo bitterness and old school hops. 2020 version is just fruity, not very tropical or good, I rate as a C.
