Arizona Mar 2015. Really nice DIPA. A bit more full bodied and malty.

Strong malt flavor, liter on the hop flavor, not much citrus

B. A bit malty and not enough hop aroma for a DIPA. My 2011 notes said it was fragrant, not real bitter, more aroma than Hoptimum and well balanced. Rated it an A+. Definitely not as good as before. Earthy aroma and a floral hop flavor. B.

The flavor & taste is up front & in the middle of my sip. Makes me realize I like my taste at the tail end of my sip

Piney floral aroma. Dark golden pour with medium mouthfeel. Moderate head with impeccable lacing. 100 IBU lends to full but not overpowering hop flavor and a lasting bitter finish. High original gravity 1080 gives it a full body. What sets it apart from the typical is the harmony of malt and hops. I was expecting a full on hop assault but was pleasantly surprised by the balance. I wouldn't be able to have more than one especially due to the 8% abv but definitely a nice choice for a DIPA.

Very nice bitter DIPA that hides its ABV well. Definitely a go to when I find it. Was plentiful in medford oregon.
