This is absolutely a wonderful beer. Great mix ingredients without the alcohol being overbearing

Its OK. I've never really been a big fan of the brewery at all. Its a cross between a barley-wine and a Belgium ale. Not thick enough for a quad.

Has an interesting smell and flavor how the bourbon-like taste was not up my alley

Roasty with notes if caramel. Best high gravity to date.

Little dark, toasty, just a tad boozy. Some cherry taste in the background. Not as flavorful as some, but still solid

Nice caramel, chestnut smell. Little hint of cherry. Good beer.

Pours a chestnut brown with ruby highlights from a bottle into a Dogfish Head snifter. A one finger head settles to a persistent tan half finger head that lingers the entire time. Moderate lacing. Smell: dark fruits, toffee, Belgian yeast. Taste: dark fruits, sweet malt, a touch of chocolate. Dark cherry is lingering on the palate. Moderate to full mouthfeel. Overall: an excellent quad with a unique cherry character without having that annoying NyQuil flavor that so many cherry beers have.
