The dryness of this beer pairs nicely with the chocolate and PB notes. Keeps it from being to sweet or cloying.

Fun to try once, but there's a reason there aren't more chocolate peanut butter porters.

Not bad, only a fleeting, faint, nutty "peanut butter" taste

Ok you have to try it once!

Amazing smell-- very strong chocolate and peanut butter aroma. Delicious taste...exactly as it smells.

Better than I thought it would be because it is subtle and dry. Not a Porter fan, I'm glad they paired the PB with a dry finish rather than too much malt.

Ah-MAZE-ing! Great chocolate & peanut butter flavor, but not overwhelming. Not overly sweet either. Interesting grain notes on the finish. Beautiful dark chocolate color.

Drink this with a cookie at the mill

I was intrigued by the idea, and was hoping for a nice dessert beer. This definitely has a chocolate/PB flavor, but unfortunately this clashes with the bitter hop aftertaste. By itself the hops probably wouldn't be too noticeable, but after a delicious Reese's flavor it grates on your taste buds. If it had a sweet aftertaste this would be so much better. Very heavy stout, with a slightly astringent finish.

Interesting heavy dessert beer
