Flavorful, with good balance of sweet and hops. Slightly bitter with hints of caramel. Delicious.

Good after work drink. Dark ale not to hoppy

A little bit bitter for me, however nice tones.

Nice winter warmer. Not as flavorful as some.

A bit sweet for me but a true Winter ale with hints of Date Pudding and nice body

This covers it pretty well: "From Beer Buddy David: Summit Winter Ale. Pours into the glass a sturdy brown stalwart to the season. The color of stubborn oak leaves still holding on. A creamy brown caps the glass nicely. A rich smooth nutty creaminess rewards the palate. Nice depth and roasted malt flavor with but a hint of burnt bitterness. Deck the halls delicious!!"

Perfectly decent dark winter ale, malty, sweet, but nothing amazing.

A really nice tasting beer-smooth with great drinkability. Dark reddish cooper color that is not as hoppy as other Summit beers. Nice combination of flavors & not real filing.
