Haven't found a lager I really care to drink, but this refreshing brew is an exception. It opens with a funky aroma, so let it sit for a minute before drinking. It tastes mostly the same the whole way through, minus a sour bite in the middle. Strawberry flavor is not overwhelming or fake, though a bit chalky at the finish. Tastes best when it's sat long enough for the condensation on the glass to start dripping.

tastes like homestead.

Not bad at all, I've had a much sweeter fruity beers. This would go great alongside a Cajun dish. Good speing/summer ale for hot days and want something cooler.

This is the best springtime ale! Bouquet of fresh strawberries hits your nose first, then the crisp brew goes down easy as cold spring water. It's a low alcohol beer, but so refreshing and perfectly light. I drink it all spring and summer!

Strong strawberry taste but then it is quickly softened by the heavy lager taste. Nice, unexpected balance.

One of the better strawberry beers out there. A harbinger of Spring.
