An exceptional American Ale, with characteristics of an IPA minus the full complex citrusy flavor. Also with sublime bitterness and a low ABV 4.4%. Cheers! 5/31/14

Many feel this is a "weak" brew, however, at a modest 4.4% ABV, this beer has a nice full flavor. The dark amber color is accompanied with flavors of malt and bitterness. Not bad!

Roasty nose. Bitter. I dig it.

Pours deep reddish copper color with thick white head that stays. Aroma is caramel, bread and floral. Bitter taste with sweet bread, piney and a bit of fruitiness.

Much more bitter than assumed. Had an older bottle but still a smooth and drinkable beer.
