Very good. Hops are well rounded and tastes great.

German hops? Almost all bitterness, not much malt. Smooth and clean like most Stone beers but unbalanced to the bitter side. Sipped slowly and still enjoyed it. Bottle, Sept 2013.

Not bad. A bit weird in the complexity. Heavy body.

My 4.5 stars is for the tap at Tony's darts away in Burbank. The bottle is somewhere between 3.5 and 4. This thing is so much smoother on tap. There is a great creamy element with anise that is very prevalent on tap and not so forward from the bottle. One of my favorite tapped beers ever. Ripe pineapple and west coast hops on the nose. Creamy licorice and peaches on the palate. Nice crisp finish with a tad of lingering sweetness. Mmm.

On tap at Yardhouse - excellent IPA for true hopheads.

Very fruity with pineapple in the aroma, taste mild to start with good hop bitterness and spicy peppery taste on the end

Drink it while its still very cold. While cold, it was bitter but balanced. As it warmed up, the hop profile fell apart and made me realize it wasn't as good as I originally thought in its cold state. The ABVis not well-hidden in the least, and borders on unpleasant. Still, another beer that I have I regrets about trying.
