julian2412 - September 7, 2012Hoppy, full, balanced. Very bold taste of dark grapefruit that follows through on the whole finish. Not necessarily a prominent note - and maybe not immediately obviously grapefruit - but very intense when you get it! So balanced for 10%
zomerhouse - September 5, 2012Pours a nice golden red. Has some tropical fruit along with subtle spice on the nose. Get spice, heavy hops, lemon, and malt at tasting. Aftertaste is nice. Standard Stone high ABV (which we all love, right?!)
One of Stone's best Anniversary brews. You better find it before its gone!! I went back and bought 6 more 22's!!

Straight dank hop aroma. Rye, dank, slightly lemon flavor with medium mouthfeel.

Draft, snifter
Good bitterness. Quite a bit malty for an IPA. Medium-dry finish. Decent carbonation breaks up an otherwise thick mouthfeel. Bitterness lingers. Good. After a swirl its less dank on the nose. Smells amazing. Aroma doesn't all transfer to flavor, unfortunately.
