A-. The 2015 seemed off when cold, but opened as it warmed. Aroma of wine, barrels, pear, faint spice (cinnamon?), caramel and alcohol. Taste very similar with additional brandy notes.

Chardonnay aroma and flavor. Light ale taste more like a Belgian golden ale. Cant detect the whiskey barrel; wine dominates. Apple juice. Pear. Tangy. Nice syrupy body. Good beer, but not the great beer that the $17 price tag indicates. Reference standard for this style is the 2018 version of Three Sheeps Roll Out the Barrel. Warning: must allow to warm!

Vanilla orange flavour. Caramel too. Not exactly what I was expecting from a quad but really good. Tangy and boozy

Malt: Pilsner
Hops: German Northern Brewer, Hallertauer Mittelfrueh, Czech Saaz
Other: Beet Sugar, Belgian Candi Sugar, Pomegranate Molasses
Barrel aged in Pinot Noir (15%) and Rye Whiskey (15%) barrels
Limited release April 2015
Medley of pears, spiced apple, fruit, wine, "good wood", very light tartness, some alcohol and aged flavored if leather and pineapple.

Complex and layered. Every sip teaches you something new. Fan fucking tastic.

2015 release. Very tasty and complex. Borders on strong ale territory. Overall very enjoyable.

Aged almost 2 years. No head retention. Light copper in color. Sweet complex nose. Not even sure where to begin. So much going on. Wish I would have kept for a special occasion.
