Very tart and definitely sour on the end. Strong raspberry flavor throughout. Fizzy, dark gold and a good summer beer. All by itself, this is a pretty tasty brew. I should note, however, that Martin House does encourage people to mix this with their other new brew, Hell Below, for a drink they call "Purgatory". When the two are combined, it is certainly an unusual blend of flavors....very reminiscent of their limited release beer, Kafkaesque.
