Malty, which like, not bitter. But it has that syrupy taste at the end that lots of high ABV beers have.

Really enjoyed this over Christmas holiday. It has a flavor I can't quite put my finger on reminiscent of Christmas...orange and maybe clove or allspice. Very good with subtle bitter finish.
