Dark brown in color with a scant amount of head. On first whiff I detected a sour note that became less noticeable as it warmed up. Despite the large bubbles left in the bottle after pouring, it almost had a flatness to it. This is very light for a porter. It has a subtle lemon touch but lacks depth and complexity in flavor. I love St Peter's cream stout so I was hoping this would be on the same level.

Fine traditional porter with coffee and chocolate overtones. Cool oblong bottle. A bit on the flatter side - fine as opposed to overt carbonation.

First Old-style porter, find it to be a lil bitter. But I did previously have an Abita Amber.

Very well made traditional style porter. Slight chocolate taste and hit of caramel malt.
