Spicy and dark. Not sure I taste any Kölsch in the profile.

Very nice spicy flavor and very drinkable. Not thick bodied but bold tastes much like a stout.

Spicy and a little bit smokey. Fruity up front as well.

Very effervescent, mildly sweet with a spicy molasses taste, and extremely drinkable. Draught, June 2014.

Very nice rye black ale, slight licorice taste from the rye. Very smooth with dry finish. Bottle, June 2014.

Pours dark brown almost black. Darker than expected. Roasted nose of dark malt and maybe some oats? Strong Roast-y taste with some rye bite. Clean and dry finish. Overall well balanced super easy to drink.
racheloura - May 14, 2014
Roasted and malty, dry with a traditional kolsch finish

A dark rye take on a Kolsh. Better than I thought. Very drinkable.
