Classic 'kentish' best bitter. Full-on hops with beautiful tawny colour and lingering taste.

Since I?m in London I?m trying to find and taste English ales?which aren?t my fave. This one has a pretty amber/red color. Low carbonation. Light malt and strong pine hop. All pros. But it has a ?thin? mouthfeel /body, which brings my score down considerably. Glad I tried it but nothing to write home about. I?m hoping this is not the best they can do with English ales. Will try others?hoping for better.

Not bad. Dark amber with a thin tan head. Smells a little skunky. Tastes of nuts and roasted malt with an ashy tobacco finish.
