rstbear - November 4, 2011Best as a 3 chug beer. Crisp enough to go down so smoothly, potent enough to do the trick. My Optimator is a lighter looking brew than the pic. Green bottom. 7.6%
cclonch - October 22, 2011Pours a good head but it doesn't last. A nice malty nose with no fruitiness. Initial malty flavor with substantial alcohol flavor quickly replacing it. Subsequent drinks reveal a little hop in the aftertaste that slowly builds. Overall, not something I would drink regularly.
Marplot - October 12, 2011a nice dark brown with a frothy head that hung around. It has a nice aroma that reminded me of alcohol spilled over some toffifay. It tasted like it smelled, subtle with a hint of sweetness finishing off with a hint of hops...and alcohol. It was surprisingly smooth for a Dopplebock.
montiesz - September 23, 2011I wouldn't say this beer is "good"....but drink about 4 of em with your old buddies and have fun getting Optimated! Side effects include fighting, shouting, and rape.
