It's sweet like molasses but is really strong. Very good Ale!

While technically a Barley Wine Ale, Soul Crusher is a dark brown ale by the people at Dust Bowl. Why Soul Crusher? Well, the story goes from the bartender is that the fermenator was actually crushed from the process in creating this fine brew. Because of this extensive damage the $10 glass and $45 growler will never be filled again as the Dust Bowl said that they would not brew it ever again. That's too bad because this has to be one of the finest beers I have ever drank. The rich caramel smell is amazing and the smoothness of even at 13.7 alcohol is incredible. My wife is not a big fan of high ABV but did enjoyed this beer. In deed this crushes my soul because it taste so good and I will never have it again.
