Raisin and caramel from the caramel malt, a hint of wheat and delightfully full mouth. A great, thick barely wine, for the full barley drinker. Worth the price to taste this gem

Dark amber color. Good dry flavor with no sweet taste.

Highly flavored with a slight bitter aftertaste. Can feel the alcohol in the burn it leaves in your gullet. Bouquet better than taste. Definitely a sipping, not a drinking brew.

Very smooth and well rounded. Little sour in the end. It does seem more like a well brewed brown ale than a barley wine.
