FabAru - August 11, 2019At only three stars, Brew Gene raters were stingy on this one. I am a big IPA critic, in the sense that so many taste the same and so many breweries unimaginatively pump out a half dozen IPAs and pale ales, almost like they do not know what else to do. This IPA errs on the first count, if that is what you want to call it. That is, it tastes like 132 other IPAs, but it hits that sweet spot of the 132 good ones , not the dozen bad ones. When I had this, I just wanted the standard so it hit the mark. Potosi is 2 for 2 with me (The BB barleywine was anything but typical.)
