bdub30 - March 10, 2013Pours a mild orange honey color, with a small amount of floating sediment. Maintains a 1-2 finger head. More malty on the nose than I would expect. No floral or citrus notes. Pretty bitter, yet no real IPA taste. Bitterness lingers in the aftertaste as well. Not for me. I will note that my bottle was almost two months past the BB date.
hchb - March 9, 2013I usually go for bitter, but this was just bracing without much flavor to go with it. I enjoy the aroma and coming in I pretty good, but the aftertaste just paralyzed the back of my tongue!
