Well balanced porter. Color is a deep brown (black) with a soft creamy dishwater blonde head. The aroma is nutty with a traditional fire roasted grain. The taste is soft on roasted bitterness with balanced bitter hops and fresh bread tasting grains and yeast. 3.5 of 5 stars.

Very tasty. Deep dark and not syrupy. I'd drink it again. Not overly smokey.

It's a bit too "smokey" for me. Almost has a fruity flavor. Not bad but not my favorite from this brewer either.
