Poured great. Foam was great. Smell sweet like caramel and wheat. Body is dark brown. Taste. As soon as I took a sip all I taste is sweet wheat. Or caramel and wheat. And 30 seconds later same thing. I'd drink it again. It's not bad for a honey brown. I don't really taste the honey though

Surprising that this brew doesn't have more honey nose or flavor. Great malty mouth with nutty honey flavor. These notes are not strong or overwhelming. It finishes crisp leaving you wanting more!

This beer holds fondly in my heart... I've no recollection of how it actually tastes, save for the delight of being vouchsafed one each by our waitress when my high school roommate and I snuck out of our dorms, made it to Downtown TO, slipped into The Rex and ordered this because it was the first beer she, our waitress, recommend. We were young, foreign, yielding obviously fake IDs and wanted to experience Queen St., yet were still given a beer--despite our waitress' better judgement. Which we enjoyed. Which just happened to be Sleeman's Honey Brown. Even though I'm a stupidly-pedantic beer dude, no matter how deplorable this beer may, or may not, be, it's still one of the best. Amazing the effect nostalgia has on taste. Eh.

Good flavor with some mild sweetness and a satisfying body. Still very easy to drink though. A solid beer.
