I'm a big fan of brown ales, because they're generally smoother and have nutty, coffee tastes. This is very similar to most brown ales and is quite well-done.

Awesome aroma, like I'm standing over the wort and inhaling the sweet grains. More bitterness than I expected, but pretty good. Actually better taste from the can than from the glass, interestingly.

Foamy head like a cappuccino, nice brown color that shows more amber in the light. Very malty, umami mouthfeel. Hoppy finish. Good beer that starts like a bock and ends like a pale ale. Nice.

A little too sour for a brown. More like new castle.

A truly great brown ale... But I can only get so excited about a brown ale.

Not a brown ale I like. Funky nose. Very filling feel right to my stomach.

Great-tasting brown ale, with moderate roasted barley flavor and pleasant sweet malt. Nice combination of sweet and savory. Solid, and delicious!

Mix this with Flower Power. Half and half to make a black lager. The roasted hops goes great with the bitter IPA
