Standard issue Porter. Nothing stands out. Malty with a slight bitter hop finish

Nice and dark - coffee colored with a light brown head. Light roasted malt in the nose with a tang not unlike sharp cheddar when you exhale. Full flavor in the mouth belied by the light nose. Plenty of roasted character and the sharp cheese taste is accentuated. For me, that's a plus - but it could be a negative for others. There is some brightness at the first taste, almost like citrus. The roasted character extends through the medium-long finish, which is plenty bitter with some light astringency.

Foodery, good flavor

Smooth, not thin but not thick, nutty. Very nice.

Nothing complex but very drinkable and not bad tasting at all.

It's the definition of a porter. Two stars because it's nothing crazy. Not bad in taste by any means.

A really nice porter. Tastes like it's made with coffee but it's not.

Easy drinking porter. Malt on the front with a roasted coffee finish. Not extraordinary but good.
