This beer has been around for a while. So it has stood the test of time. I hear too hoppy to blah. If you do not want hoppy then stay away from pale ales or IPAs. But blah it is not. It is not my go to beer or style but it is a very good stand in.

Good smooth well balanced slightly sweet. On tap in DC.

Decent pale ale not too hoppy. They should explain on the label what "bottle conditioned " means. I would accept if it was all that was being served, but not if one of my 4-5 Star brews was available.

On many occasions, I've tried to enjoy this beer, but in the end I don't care much for the taste profile much at all. Overly bitter for the style.

A great taste for the first one but as a strong ale could become too much for a session.

Smooth, with a good flavor. Don't taste the hops very much but a decent beer.
