Add others have said, it is sweet and it is bitter. Nice thickness. Great malts. Mostly it's just really, really good.

If you like stouts, they don't get much better than this. Not worth the $ for me.

Very, very, very, very bitter and rich. A lot less hoppy than most Thirsty Dog beers.

Very tasty. Thick, fairly sweet, very roasted. Has a nice head and lacing. Very good brew

perhaps it is just myself, but this beer has a lot of chocolatey nibs in the very beginning. And then immediately you taste the boozy alcohol taste, and it finishes throughout the beer taste-wise
