BSxRay - February 23, 2014*Appearance-4/5. a great golden orange (like Oberon) color. Good head, not overly thick, silky.
*Aroma-4/5. Great citrus and piney smell. Sweet, but hops still very present.
*Taste-4/5. Moderately-severe bitterness, though well balanced with citrus and sweet malt. Much milder than anticipated.
*Mouthfeel-3.75/5. Medium-bodied, citrus/grapefruit initially and long-lasting bitter after taste.
*Overall-4/5. Great beer. Maybe not as well-balanced as Two-Hearted, but greater Hop flavor and bitterness, with an amazing amount of sweetness to balance. Surprised with the tameness of the IBU level (supposed to be 140 IBU, yet drinks like a 95-100). Great Michigan IPA; definitely one of my go-to beers.
