A little on the light side of taste for a dark beer, but has a nice chocolate finish.

Thin fast dissipating head. Dark chocolate color. Sweet chocolate smell. Chocolate taste. High carbonation with smooth mouthfeel.

Good winter beer.

I was hoping for a thick, dense and creamy head but it ended up being a small amount and rather loose. Brown-black in color with a heavenly chocolate aroma. The smell straight from the bottle reminds me of cocoa krispies. This is a Belgian style wheat ale brewed with spice and aged on cocoa and vanilla beans. Some may find the flavor too sweet or too chocolaty but I thought it was just right without being overpowering. This definitely goes down easy but I probably would not drink more than one in a session. This would pair well with desserts and anything chocolate of course. I normally do not like buying 6-packs of anything because I like variety but I had no problem drinking this back to back. This is not my top choice among chocolate brews but it is my favorite beer from Shock Top.

Dark without bitter nor char. Mild true chocolate flavor with neural sweetness- yummy!
