martini1 - October 26, 2017It's actually quite malty! You can distinguish between the caramel malt and hop profile of an amber with the chocolate and mocha notes of a porter. Great with food!

Very smooth, lite, and drinkable for 6.3%, would probably be able drink this as a session beer ..I just wish the finish had a stronger malty and chocolate finish.. I'm getting the slightest hints of both every other sip, but not enough to live up to hype of the advertisement I read, that persuaded me into purchasing this.. More pale ale than porter in this Black and Tan..Good beer not great beer
