It seems to be more sour than bitter with strong malt aftertaste. Maybe my taste buds just prefer the American versions. I purchased this at the Express Stop in Bowling Green, OH.

Bought at total wine and more July 4th eeeekend. Aroma is mostly malt and alcohol even though it's just 5%. Taste pretty good, not your American ipa. More malt forward but has an earthy aftertaste. Eh okay but wouldn't buy again.

Not overly hoppy (IBU guess of 40ish), great malt flavour, and great balance. Best IPA I've had to date

Surprisingly sour for an IPA - not the American style Low bitterness for IPa hops more fruity than bitter Not much character but I liked Belgian-iPa mix idea Unpleasant smell

Nice hop aroma. Malty. A good English IPA

Delicious! The first AUTHENTIC ENGLISH IPA I've had. Nothing like the hopped up and bitter American cousin. Fruity and hoppy- very nice. Enjoying Christmas Eve 2015 at Michael's. An eye-opening delight.

Definitely not the Americanized IPA - light fruit flavors come through with delicate yeast and hop aromas to create a smooth complexity that could easily be indulged in for multiple glasses!

As I'm acquiring a taste for hoppy IPA's, this one is very subtle.
