Easily the best Sam Adams I've tried. Nice strong hoppy flavor, a bit bitter, with pine and citrus notes and a moderate sweet maltiness, like a mild Belgian. Very good beer.

Really foamy off white head light golden Amber in color. Faint aroma but not distinguishable. Hoppy yes pine mild bitterness but nothing special as for taste overall. Yes high Alcohol content will mess you up but I want to enjoy the taste

I am not typically a fan of big commercial beer companies. However, I enjoyed this beer. The pour was interesting. Darker color than I expected, but very nice. The nosing of the beer was actually better than the tasting. Beautiful floral hops and very interesting. The taste was decent. Definitely not as hoppy as I expected based on the nosing. Not extremely complex, but it was a good double IPA.
