Very dark and malty, good chocolate flavor hides the alcohol content @ 9%. Meant for sipping and not chugging.

At over 9% ABV you can't be surprised by the strong taste of alcohol. Its strength is nicely balanced by the taste of chocolate, however. An excellent Stout worth the expensive price tag.

Maybe a few steps less sweet than the Wee Heavy... and without the smoky flavour. True to a stout, wouldn't be a first pick but it is def better than most on tap in my vicinity.
