A little too much cherry

The first beer was good, but after that it tasted more like cough syrup and had a strong after taste

Sorry people but this is a great beer. Does not taste like "cough syrup" or anything like that. Beautiful wheat color with rockie foam, wheat flavor with vanilla and hint of cherry in the middle. The aroma of cherry is the only thing strong about it, which is not bad a thing. Samuel Adams makes me proud to call this an American beer.
If you think this is a syrup beer then you should try Wild Blue by Anheuser.

Great aroma have me high hopes but the taste was a mix of NyQuil and blandness
HopItToMe - February 17, 2012
Okay for one or two during a summer day. But a full six pack is too much. Thel taste is nice and sweet. Very good on a very warm day. Very cherry flavorful.

Reminds me of drinking NyQuil. Bad lingering aftertaste.
