cgiron - September 1, 2012Red amber & tan head. Sweet malt biscuit flavors & aromas. Nice crisp bitter finish.

Notquitered - July 8, 2012Somewhere along the way for me, Sam lost his way. With all the wonderful micro brews available, Sam is not my beer of choice. But the Brick Red draught only is pretty good. A amber reddish pour and frothy head with good retention. Malty red brew caramel taste, with medium body mouth. Medium carbonation with a gentle hop aftertaste.

sonicwonder - July 6, 2012From what I know, it can only be found in Boston. Really, one of Boston Beer Co.'s better beers.

drodr10 - July 3, 2012Being a Red Ale fan, this is one of my top 3 favorite beers of all time!! Too bad it's only sold in Boston!! Disney's EPCOT used to have it but not anymore!! I miss you!!

EL HINO - May 12, 2012I feel sorry for all you suckers who don't live in Mass and will never b able to taste this master piece

sendmejunk51@hotmail.com - May 1, 2012Full bodied and fantastic. A little heavier, more of a brown sugar taste.

mdpmclean - January 20, 2012Pours a nice red, but with very little head. Strong cherry aroma and cherry comes through significantly in this malt-backed beer. However, the cherry flavour seems a bit artificial -- perhaps they're using a syrup? Overall, I enjoyed it, but wouldn't rave about it. It's just a nice change of pace.

pichapower - November 16, 2011Great at a closer to room temperature for its full flavor to come out. Simply a really tastey and flavorful ale.
