Cellar Dweller - October 19, 2015A barleywine aged in rum barrels. Pours reddish brown with a thick tan head that quickly dissipates. Smells of dark fruits, wet leaves, vanilla and alcohol. Tastes of cherry, apple, butterscotch and vanilla. The alcohol is not overly strong but it is always present and dries out the finish. I probably should have let this one age a little.
