Solid first taste.

Enjoyed this and would have it again. It had a good level of bitterness that was not offensive. Slightly floral, piney, resinous, with vanilla notes in the malts.

The vanilla flavor combines with the caramel flavor to be very smooth. Pretty tasty, lives up to the adjective of oaky

Great caramel, vanilla, & malt body; I would prefer more hops. Perhaps a Double Rumble?

Very smooth. Slight floral aroma, subtle bitterness. Touch of vanilla and buttery notes. Nice full body but overall a bit sweet. Not the citrusy hops I usually prefer

Oak aged ipa - discovered during the thrillest beer passport 2012 and the absolute standout of the summer. Very smooth vanilla and buttery notes with a subtle citrusy bitterness. Slight piney and citrusy mixed with oak nose. Definite recommend!

Sweet and fruity with hints of grape. Rather sweet but high complexity helps to balance.

Subtle oak flavor, and not very complex hip flavor left me a bit disappointed with this oak aged IPA. Slightly cloudy in appearance with a smooth head.

Vet clean for an aged ale. Caramel and hops up front, with pleasing malt and bitter finish. Delicately sweet. Refreshing.

Nice IPA. After drinking an imperial IPA this was a refreshing change. The oak flavor is very forward and lasts through the finish. Notes of chocolate also join the finish. Fairly well balanced, as the oak adds to the hoppy bitterness
