Love Saranac but hated this beer. Couldn't taste much of anything.

Pretty good flavor for Christmas ale. Taste is on the lighter side. Can taste the spice just not sure what it is. Good switch up before the IPA run of beers.

Seriously I don't know why I keep trying saranac beers. They all taste the same and they all taste like shit. If you are one of those dickbags that want too much hops in every beer you drink regardless of style, by all means, love this beer.

Clear golden in color with a thin white head and faint malt aromas. Don't get much spice from this beer, fairly bland compared to other Christmas beers. Malty backbone with no discernible notes. Pleasant but boring. A little disappointing

I like Saranac beer in general. I did enjoy this, gave it a 3 out of 5. I wouldn't call it a typical christmas ale at all - no spicy or added flavor typical of most xmas ales. It tastes a lot like their others brews.

Mediocre. Bland. Just like EVERY OTHER SARANAC. I'm done trying beers by them; they all lack flavor and they all disappoint. That said this was the best one I've had by them. 3 stars
