Let me start by saying this is a very different kind of beer. Not bad....but different. This has a very fizzy carbonation, yet retains no head at all when poured into a glass. Overall, this tastes like hard ginger ale, with a twist of grapefruit. There is virtually no beer taste, and it is very weak at only 4% alcohol. Could you drink a ton of these on a hot summer day? Absolutely. Would you want to? Depends how much you like ginger ale. It is not bad, by any means. It just isn't BEER.

One of shiners best attempts at a smooth warm-weather beer. Strong notes of grapefruit.

First impression: Refreshing grapefruit beer with a bit of ginger/spice. Drinking it in a 90ish degree bar on a hot summer evening & loving it.
Over time: less good. Seems to lose flavor.

Interesting flavor, I could really taste the ginger and it reminded me of the ginger dressing at Japanese steakhouses.

Light. A bit empty but nice ginger taste. Almost soda. Low abv. But curiously tasty

Pretty good summer beer, but I wish the grapefruit was a little more pronounced. You could taste it a little bit if you really tried, but I definitely wanted it to be a little more pronounced
