From the bottle had a nice thick head and a not so red color. More a orange-red. You know you are drinking a Irish Red from the first taste. Has an unusual ?bright, effervescent? quality that is not bad at all. Smooth finish as well.

Thick head. Rich dark color to the beer. Lacing on sides of glass. Would definitely have again. Better than the last red ale I tasted.
