Thick; strong coffee/chocolate alcohol flavor that is almost overwhelming.

Really nice work here. 3 finger head lasts the whole beer. Lighter in body making it deceiving to the 9% which remained hidden save a nice warming on the back end. Aroma and taste roasty sweet with anise/ raisin. Finish clean w/ touch hops and smoke
