Amber gold clear pour with thin white head. Floral and sweet malt with caramel notes present balance in aroma and flavor. Not especially bitter. Very drinkable.

I really liked this alot. Great balance of dark roasted flavor and bitterness. Not too much of either. Went down fast, ready for another one immediately!

Good but liked copper better. Had in June 2012 in Maine.

A good introduction for a beginner. Not the best balanced ale yet not the worst. It is a good all day sipping beer. A medium body beer that starts off somewhat bitter. The finish is dry with a touch of caramel flavor and the hops finishing the show.

Sour and bitter start leading into a malty, scotch tannin and bitter hops middle - the malt and bitter hops seem to compete for dominance. Floral and sweet caramel hints throughout, no fruit. Sweet maltiness comes through at the end. If it were more balanced, it would score higher.

Had one in an ESB tasting when I opened my first ESB homebrew. Great flavor, but the aroma could be better. Overall a solid ESB

Smooth and malty with some hoppiness. Pretty good beer. New Orleans Beer Festival 2012.
