My favorite stout so far

Smooth. Very earthy. More beet taste than chocolate. Just ok

Doesn't taste anything like an oatmeal stout. Not bad just not what it is supposed to be.

Watery and bitter (but an off-putting bitter).

Shoot this is a tasty beer! The beets and the chocolate go together really well and is a very smooth beer. It mates really well with the oatmeal flavor! Buy again!

729: Red Velvet by Ballast Point. 5.5 ABV 35 IBU. Poured into a pint glass. A nearly translucent strawberry color with a small head despite an aggressive pour. The nitro produced a delicate and creamy cap that stayed around for quite a while. The smell was certainly unique, vanilla cake batter is the closest discretion I can think of. The flavors were all there: chocolate, vanilla, cake batter. The hops really came through on the finish, and I was left with a floral bitterness that seemed to erase all of the cake notes. A slight vanilla aftertaste. It was a bit light-bodied, so It did not come off as too sweet or syrupy. The nitro and oats produced a creamy feel that help offset the thinness. interesting beer. 3 1/2 âï¸

Really odd stout. Clear and red. Heavy chocolate flavor, a little thin, but good otherwise.
