ballfour - January 1, 201412-23-2013. Imperial stout - I may have to rethink not liking Imperial Stouts. This is a very nice beer. To bad that this beer is just part of a series - not to become part of their regular series of beers. Flavor very good & well balanced. I was surprised that this stout did not have the heavy flavors of coffee and/or chocolate.
From summit Brewing: Part of the Union Series. Single hopped. Pours a massive tan head with notes of roast grain, dark fruit & spicy hops. A huge body leads to a dry, intensely bitter finish with flavors of mocha coffee, liquor ice and black molasses.
